Kuvempu Shatamanothsava Shikshana Mahavidyalaya (K.S.S.M) was established on 21-12-2005. It offers a 2-year full-time Bachelor of Education(B.Ed) degree. Recognization by National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE) (Order No: F.SRO/NCTE/B.ED/2005-06/4852,dated:21-12-2005 (F.SRO/NCTE/2010-11/26624, dated:01-02-2011), (F.SRO/NCTE/APS03105/B.ED/KA/2014-15/65012, dated:16-05-2015), Government of Karnataka(order.No:ED 29 URC 2006 Bangalore, dated:19-05-2006)and also affiliated to Kuvempu University. Our Campus is situated in the heart of the Shivamogga City. The college is Co-Educational and within an annual intake of 100 for two basic units of 50 students each form the academic session 2015-16. The college offers a perfect Educational Environment for the students as well as teachers for an all-round personality development also to develop and train the students as Emerging and Effective future teachers.
